     Required course textbook.
    Third edition is not very different.
  2. Arnold Allen, Probability, Statistics, and Queueing Theory with Computer Science Applications (2nd ed.), Academic Press, 1990.

Prerequisites CS-210: Computer Systems (required)
MA-293: Discrete Mathematics I (required)
Brief Description Rigorous treatment of invariant concepts, algorithms, and performance evaluation methods underlying computing systems design.
